Less than 300 of Europe


COPENHAGEN (FITNESS BLOG): Over 800 Norwegian athletes have qualifying rounds eboks "CrossFit Open competed for the 96 seats allocated to each gender, who did participate eboks in the CrossFit Regionals, or EM. Less than 300 of Europe's eboks best trained CrossFit athletes this weekend fighting for precious medals in Copenhagen. The tournament has been going on all weekend, with two or three hard and challenging workouts every day. And what "EM" CrossFit Regionals proved to be, with Kristin Holte from Dunstable eboks who with Sunday's performance established at the pinnacle of Europe. eboks Over the weekend, she has been through the full range of weight training, but also more acrobatic exercises such as skipping rope, climbing rope, handstand push-ups, walking eboks on hands, rowing and more. In Sunday's final rehearsal, she crushed all competitors and away did 64 pull-ups and 8 lifts with squats (62 kg) in 2 minutes and seven seconds. It was this victory that made Kristin climbed from fifth to third place. - I had a little hope, but I did not think it would go - so for me a sour fourth place, surprised that I managed to win the last exercise, but I had the right attitude, had everything to gain and nothing to lose, says Kristin to Fitness Blog.
For Kristin remained outside the top three positions. No Turn consisted of a total of seven exercises, three on Friday and two on Saturday and Sunday. - The weekend started well for the snatch is clearly the most challenging exercise, says Kristin who set a new PR by 70 kg., But in subsequent competitions, she was constantly lying slightly behind the leaders. Sunday: 50 kcal rowing, 50 box jumps, 50 deadlifts eboks (82 kg/55 kg), 50 wall-ball, 50 ring dips 50 wall-ball, 50 deadlifts (82/55), 50 box jumps and new 50 kcal rowing, 64 pull-ups, eboks overhead eboks squats 8 (93 kg/61 kg) Frostie Gylfason from CrossFit Centrum Sandnes is a strong rock, but struggled terribly with "pistols" and thus he landed eboks far behind and was moved out of elite heat. Participants were divided into four heats, and the last for each gender was head heat. Christer Idland, also from CrossFit Centrum Sandnes, eboks was never in danger of being moved out of the head heat, but got some strict refereeing decisions against him in the ropes course and two "no-reps" ended Christer far down on the list. As he slowly recovered and ended in 8th place. - I got caught out there I had but apart from roping where I was ordered away, so I'm happy with the weekend. Motivational and cool to be in the final heats of the 9 second best in Europe. Now I look forward to a period of varied training without a specific application. The first competition Saturday with handstand push-ups were probably the coolest session we had, says Christer to Fitnessbloggen.
In this relatively new but rapidly growing the sport, currently taking the country by storm, Norway is well represented by many practitioners among the best in Europe. CrossFit is based on many of the classic weight lifting exercises like deadlifts, press, squats etc., in addition to a variety of weight exercises that fall under the term "functional training". It does therefore not being able to lift heavy, if not you also have the flexibility eboks needed to maneuver the body through the imaginable and unimaginable challenges.
Under "EM" eboks has thirty of the best CrossFit centers competed eboks against each other, eboks with CrossFit Åsane from Bergen as best Norwegian team in 14th place. Crossfit center of Sandnes ended in 22th place, with CrossFit Oslo on location behind. The teams consisted of six people, three boys and three girls.
- CrossFit Oslo has organized eboks for Kristin, eboks she can work round the clock and we have a community in the training environment that supports her all the way. Around her, we have built a training team consisting partly mental coach Christian eboks Ytterbøl eboks and head coach Daniel Moore who has been on day and night for the last three weeks of preparation, says Joachim de Seves, manager at CrossFit Oslo. - Kristin is now among the world's best-trained girls, says Joachim.
